Carlo Domeniconi’s diverse body of work spans painting, drawing, and printmaking. His art blends narrative and ornamental elements with a distinct sense of authenticity. Born in Schaffhausen in 1951, Carlo Domeniconi studied at the Zurich School of Applied Arts before leaving Switzerland to work in Vicenza, Italy, and Valencia, Spain. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions across Switzerland, Italy, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, the USA, and China. Domeniconi has received several prestigious awards, including the Manor Art Prize in 1988, the Georg Fischer Prize of the City of Schaffhausen in 1997, and the UBS Kulturfenster Prize Schaffhausen in 2009.
