VALENTIN MAGARO

Valentin Magaro (b. 1972) completed his training as a scientific draughtsman at the Zurich School of Design in 1996. Since then, he has developed an independent visual language that merges figurative and abstract elements. Magaro has received numerous awards for his work, including those from the Adolf Dietrich Foundation (2007), the UBS Cultural Foundation (2009), the International Lake Constance Conference (2010), and the Canton of Thurgau (2012). His works are included in many public and private art collections, as well as prestigious corporate collections.

Solo Exhibitions: 2020 at Haus für Kunst Uri, 2019 at Gluri Suter Huus in Wettingen, 2016 at the Willi-Sitte Gallery in Merseburg, 2009 at Kunsthalle Winterthur, 2007 at Kunstraum Kreuzlingen.
