GAUDENZ SIGNORELL
Born in Chur in 1950 and raised in Domat/Ems, the artist completed an apprenticeship as a machine fitter. In the 1970s, he taught himself photography and has been working as a freelance photographer since 1976.

Key milestones in his education and career include attending the Summer Academy in Salzburg, stays in Paris, New York, and Cuba, as well as a journey through India. In 2020, he was awarded a studio scholarship by the Landis & Gyr Foundation in London, which was cut short due to the pandemic. Following a three-month studio residency in Genoa in 2021, he has been living and working in Lugano and Zurich since 2022.
