Irene Weingartner (*1971 in Nottwil, Switzerland) lives and works in Düsseldorf and Zurich. After completing her training as a structural draughtswoman, she pursued Fine Art studies at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, UDK Berlin, and Chelsea College of Arts, London, where she earned an MA in Fine Art in 2001.

Her work has been featured in numerous national and international solo and group exhibitions. From March 15 to May 11, 2025, her work will be on display in the group exhibition … und wir fangen gerade erst an at Kunsthalle Düsseldorf.
