Rafael Grassi studied art at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid and continued his studies at the Accademia di Belle Arte di Brera, Milan and at the EHESS in Paris. His works are represented in numerous public collections, including those of the Canton of Zurich, the City of Winterthur, the Italian Ministry of Cultural Affairs and the FRAC Auvergne. Born in Chur/Switzerland, Rafael Grassi grew up in Madrid and lives and works in Winterthur.
